We choose to cure & smoke our own corned beef & pastrami from scratch like they did on the lower east side of Manhattan all those years ago. We grind and hand form all our burgers daily. Fresh & sustainable is what we do and who we are. We are a passionate chef driven, fast casual concept leading the new school deli revolution. This is not your bubbie's deli. Meet our Founder

Our chef decided to open his own culinary experience where he started, Bergen County. Chef Shalom has vast experience in the culinary world working for restaurant concepts around the nation including the Patina Restaurant Group, Fox Restaurant Concepts, and Downtown Disney. 

After consulting for two years back on the East Coast, Chef Shalom is proud to serve his guests with quality food and unforgettable service. With his constant drive to set the highest industry standards and ensure a memorable guest experience, The Humble Toast is what you've been waiting for.
